The game is unfortunately short but feels immersive and alive enough, what with the nice music, sound design, and voice-acting involved. This quaint burger joint is no ordinary place and you’ll soon find out what really makes the place unsettling the moment you arrived. However, the easy grind of the gameplay is really quick to distract you from the horror side of the story. The controls are simple and you can pretty much go at your own pace to explore the surprisingly-detailed environment. Despite the grainy and dirty-looking graphics, the game is reminiscent of PS1/PSX-era games and adds a touch of nostalgia to it, as well. Working alone as both the fry cook, cashier, and security isn’t so bad since the customers just slowly trickle in and never really overwhelm you with a timer, unlike most cooking simulators.
